The new BIC/Acoustech Platinum Plus Series PL-28 II centre speaker offers superb performance, high output to 119 dB (live rock band levels), high power 8″ woofers for extended bass output, top-notch materials and build quality, the PL-28 II centre speaker delivers even more impressive performance than its predecessor.
The newly engineered PL-28 II incorporates an improved crossover design which enables smoother response for both mid and high-frequency ranges. This results in a more natural, accurate balance of sound with improved clarity and detail. Therefore, the PL-28 II offers enhanced sound coverage of the listening area— regardless of where you’re seated.
Platinum Plus Series PL-28 II centre speaker is specially designed to recreate voices and centre effects in movies rich in clarity. For extra low bass extension, the PL-28 II includes two high power 8″ woofers. The state-of-the-art 6 1/2″ high-efficiency horn tweeter produces such richly detailed, startlingly lifelike sound that it will impress even the most critical audiophile. All Acoustech Platinum Series speakers come in elegant enclosures with hand-rubbed black lacquer tops and bottoms. This is a very good center channel speaker for home theater setups. It is both very stylish and well built. The design is very nice, with a sleek and elegant look and the materials are very high quality. It is surprisingly lightweight for its size, which is great for when you have to mount it on a wall. It is a great choice for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good center channel speaker for their home theater.

A great Center Channel Speaker. I think you would find it very hard to beat. The Dual 8″ Woofers and 6″ Plus speakers and very hard to beat. It is an extremely high quality speaker and I highly recommend it. Sound is Amazing.
