The Mogami 2477 Reference Speaker Cable – Terminated
A true reference cable, the 2477 follows in the footsteps of the Flagship 2804 but uses a thicker construction with larger 12awg cores bestowing the cable with a tight and accurate low frequency bass. The 2477 is a cable with an efficient dual-coax design made of highly conductive Japanese Neglex 7NOCC copper. This achieves an extremely low capacitance of only 550 pF/m, these values guarantee an absolutely clear and undistorted signal transmission that is second to none. It provides the cleanest, most musical presentation leaving nothing between you and your music.
A highly musical cable with an emphasis on a large soundstage, a very smooth midbass combined with the sweetest high-frequency presentation that we have heard yet, makes this cable our favourite go-to cable for ANY setup.
The transients have excellent decay and the instrument separation matches the Mogami 2804 but the most important feature of the 2477 is the level of involvement and engagement that this cable can produce
The cable is finished using standards laid down by Mogami Japan with genuine Nakamichi banana plugs or spades. As with the 2804, the limited production of the 2477 by Mogami makes it a hard-to-find hi-fi speaker cable known for maintaining marvellous resolution and rich detail
