Recently purchased the Marantz PM 7005 from HiFimart, Mumbai. As usual the buying experience was a very pleasant one. Excellent guidance of Mr. Anil in detailing the features of the amplifier.
The pricing is very affordable at this price range compared to nay other sellers I have talked to in Bangalore or even Chennai,and delivery was bang on time with Fedex tracking number being provided made things very simple , since I ordered the piece for Mysore.Right from payment to delivery everything went smoothly. this is my experience very time i buy from HiFimart.
About Marantz PM7005 Amplifier:
It is a solid amplifier with a good build. I got the silver color. This is made in japan. When i hooked up the set with BDP 170 pioneer blu-ray and Sonodyne 3155 tower speakers the sound was crystal clear. The sound clarity both in digital and analogue modes were awesome. In the analogue mode, it was slightly a shade gentle. .
Overall I find the sound staging very open and expansive. The cross overs were crystal clear as expected from an amp of this category. Though this amp does not have a loudness function the bass and treble kept in the center is just right. In case you want a little more sharpness you can use the source direct mode.
Good investment for music lovers and do use hifimart as your destination for shopping any kind of av equipment and you will never be disappointed with the experience.
