My previous digital interconnect – A Ridge Street Audio Poemia died with a messed up ground recently. I ordered a WSS Platin to replace it. However since these are hand built, it takes more than a few days to arrive.Bought a DAC Coaxial Digital cable to tide me over since most of my music is ripped onto a music server. Ordered it on a tuesday, received it next monday in perfect condition. I’m pleasantly surprised by the cable. Tonally there’s not much that it gives away compared to my previous 500$+ retail cable. High frequency detail is a bit muted, there’s a general lack of presence compared to the previous cable, still it does far better than I expected Build quality is quite decent. Its nicely shielded and claims to be 75 ohm. The connector quality is good for the price.Both hifimart.com and DAC cables are highly recommended following this experience.
