All-New Design—All-New Debut!
Everything about Debut 2.0 has been improved, including completely redesigned custom drivers that deliver greater accuracy, and robust cabinets for even higher resolution and freedom from resonances.
New Tweeter with Wide-Dispersion Waveguide
A new silk-dome tweeter features a wide-roll surround and takes response up to 35,000 Hz for even more lifelike high frequencies. The waveguide improves directivity control and eliminates the diffraction modes inherent in traditional box enclosures.
New Woven Aramid-Fiber Woofer
The revised shape of the aramid cone offers even greater stiffness and damping, far superior to polypropylene or paper. The added strength allows more flexibility in design to achieve a smoother, extended low-frequency response.
New Cabinets for Easier Placement
Thick MDF cabinets with a luxurious black ash vinyl finish are larger and internally braced for greater stiffness and strength, greatly reducing cabinet vibrations that cause unwanted coloration. Moving the bass port to the front of the cabinet means placement against walls or in bookshelves won’t compromise performance.

Those are awesome. Bass is pure and well controlled. Highs are well detailed and smooth. They never ever sound harsh no matter whatever you are listening to with exciting presentation.

The speakers sound so good and clear you would think you were at a concert, the new tweeter disperses the music so well that you can hear all the instruments and vocals so clearly. It was very easy to set up. I can’t believe I waited so long to get these speakers. They were worth every Rupee.

My husband and I have a home theater, but we have a small room that we use to watch movies and it’s not ideal for watching movies, so I wanted to get some speakers to place in the room. I contacted HiFiMART and they told me about the Elac speakers that was coming out and we got them just in time for Diwali and I couldn’t be more impressed with these speakers. A great buy, especially for the price and the quality is amazing. I don’t know how they can make a speaker this good for the price.

I am used to listening to KEF Q300 paired with a Marantz PM5005 and FiiO M9 DAP. This setup sounds quite good, however the male vocals sounded a bit lean. Bought these ELACs with the expectation of fixing that and it does. The ELAC has fuller bass and male vocals sound nice now.
Also the ELAC even if bright enough, does not fatigue my ears easily, probably because the upper midrange is not overdone and the tweeter is soft dome.
Overall good speakers for the price sounding close to a HD650 headphone.
Purchasing and delivery experience was very good, no hassles.
