Great TT to start the vinyl journey. Everything is fool- proof. No need to do any adjustments like counterweights, etc. Just add the platter and the belt, remove the stylus cover and you are good to go. Offers features such as auto stop at the end of the record, auto arm lift and touch down.
Of-course sound is good like all Marantz equipment. I also heard some expensive TTs from Technics/ Denon but failed to notice any significant difference in sound.

The Marantz as expected is a great product and the its good to go out of the box the option of having the phono preamp built in is useful.

Got it with a great deal on Hifimart. The sound quality is very good, even though I am using it with a 5.1 Panasonic Home Theater System. Hence, I have disabled the phono option. Sounds like a cliché, but I really feel the sound is better than the CDs I play. Even though it is a basic, entry level player, it is much above my expectation. Compared to the iON player I had before, this one is at least 30 times better.
