Terminated using the industries best 24k Gold banana termination on both ends.
This termination gives the best flexibility to the user and ensures to oxidation of copper which tends to take place in case of using bare wire.
Oxidation, all people will agree, causes degradation in signal quality. Even bare cable users cannot deny the oxidation at the cable ends. This oxidations not only spoils the cable but will over time eat the terminators on your amplifier and speaker ends as well.
Note:
- We offer custom termination for this cable using our patented 24k real gold 3 micron gold plated banana plugs.
- All our custom made cables are professionally soldered with a Proprietary 4% Silver solder blend;, we also use a specially developed, Proprietary Nitrogen-Assisted soldering process that is unique to us, which exceeds the highest industry standards, the overall integrity of the solder joints are greatly improved in comparison to traditional soldering processes..
WHY MOGAMI?
There’s a reason why Mogami is called “The Cable of the Pros.” Virtually every major recording facility is wired with Mogami, which means that just about any music you listen to has passed through Mogami somewhere in the recording chain—from Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters, from Prince to Pearl Jam, and countless others.
Why do so many discriminating artists and studios choose Mogami over other cable brands? It’s simple. Mogami is unmatched for accuracy, extremely low noise, ease of installation, flexibility, and superior quality. Professionals and enthusiasts alike rave about the amazing clarity and silent background of Mogami—technicians swear by it, not at it.
MOGAMI QUALITY
Mogami has always had a relentless devotion to quality, integrity and ethical business practices. Every foot of Mogami cable is made in Nagano, Japan under the direct supervision of the company founder who continues to work every day. Comprised of true craftsmen, Mogami refuses to compromise quality for cost savings, and never copies the work of others. In today’s global economy, it’s often difficult to track who really makes a branded cable or other products. Unlike such brands, Mogami completely controls its design and manufacturing process and will never use a “silent partner” factory. Each product is certified to meet very rigid specifications, which are published and verifiable. There are no “secret ingredients” or mysticism attached to the performance of our products. Mogami is also dedicated to responsible manufacturing and was the first cable factory to meet RoHS requirements for everything they make.
- Mogami uses only pure OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) for the best signal transmission, as well as XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulation for high dielectric strength and dimensional stability.
- We could fill a book with specs but in the end it comes down to the purist philosophy that runs through every Mogami cable. It’s why Mogami is a top choice for studio professionals and touring bands everywhere.
- Every foot of Mogami cable is proudly manufactured in Nagano, Japan.

I think this is quite good for the money. Seems to better than chord odyssey 2 and carnival silverscreen but from my experience this is system dependent and so everyone’s mileage will vary. Highly recommended.

Got this from hifimart. Heavy well built cables. Not very flexible. Sound quality it is not bright by any means. Better suiting a bit bright speakers like the dalis. Paired with wharfs these might not sound exciting. Compared to qed cables these are less bright but have bold thick midrange and vocals are more pronounced. Great for classical and jazz.

Absolutely satisfied with the Mogami 3103 speaker cable. I have a hi-fi setup of Marantz 7005, Marantz ND8006 and Oberon 5 speakers. This cable has simply changed the sound signature of the whole setup for the better.. Very transparent but slightly warm and easy velvety sound. Earlier harshness of the mid and high frequencies has gone and now the mids sound very sweet and lovely. The highs are slightly rolled off but I dont mind. The Mogami cable has restored the bass which was missing in my earlier cheap cable. The cable maintains the soundstage and stereo effect very well. Now, I can listen for hours without any listening fatigue. This is great for any kind of music. Just go for it if you want your music to sound sweet, natural with plenty of bass and without any fatigue .. Absolutely recommended…

It provided an instant boost to my stereo when I plugged in. Never underestimate the change of quality when you use a high-end cable like the Mogami. (I hadn’t heard the name before, but now I’m so happy.)

I’ve been in this hobby for 3 decades and have used many type of cables. For long runs, it may be possible to identify the subtle difference cable does to the sound. However for short runs, taking care of the basic quality should do. So why this cable ? Its exceptionally well made and the banana plugs on this one can be squeezed through the speaker terminals and the plugs expand again once inserted. So we don’t need to be worried about the manufacturing quality/standard of the speaker terminals across brands. The cable is thick enough to use it on high power separates system without being worried. If you are reading this to know if this cable made a difference to the sound on my system, I just can’t make out that difference between cables for short runs. If you plan on buying more expensive cables, I would suggest spend that on electronics or speakers which makes the biggest difference to the sound. I’m giving this 5 stars for the craftsmanship & the classy looks of this cable.
