O&B HCA1000 Power Amplifier
A true flagship, the HCA1000 delivers immense power with absolute control, driving even the most demanding loudspeakers with effortless authority. Its exceptionally high damping factor and substantial current reserve ensure bass that is tight, fast, and precise—while preserving the natural detail and texture across the entire frequency range.
At its core lies a heavily over-engineered power architecture, built around low-noise shielded toroidal transformers and a robust supply. This creates a foundation of complete stability, where silence is truly silent, and dynamics unfold without strain.
The result is a presentation that is powerful and refined—effortless, transparent, and deeply engaging. The physical design reflects the same philosophy. A rigid steel chassis minimises resonance and interference, while the precision-machined anodised aluminium front panel offers a clean, understated presence. Billet aluminium feet with neoprene isolation ensure consistent, vibration-free performance in any environment.
Designed for seamless integration, the HCA1000 features balanced XLR and RCA inputs, along with a 12V trigger for effortless control in advanced audio setups. The HCA1000 does not try to impress—it simply delivers.

DOs & DON’Ts
- Turn off the amplifier before changing speaker cables.
- Toggle RCA/XLR input, Gain, Source, HPF, and Ground Lift switches only when the amplifier is turned off.
- Ensure no spurious signals or oscillations are fed into the amplifier from preamplifiers, streamers, or other devices.
- Use good quality RCA and XLR cables to maintain signal consistency and prevent damage.
- Do not exceed the rated input sensitivity to avoid clipping and potential damage to speakers and amplifier.
- Operate the device within a stable mains voltage range of 215–253 VAC.
- Do not drive the amplifier below the rated impedance of 4 ohms.
- Do not connect to a tube-based preamp without prior consultation.
