I had been using the standard RCA interconnects which get shipped with CD/DVD players. I have been reading in forums that the type and quality of interconnect cables do make a difference. Hence I wanted to try it out, so went ahead and ordered the DAC ARA040.
When I connected the DAC cable and played an Eric Clapton Unplugged album, I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity in the detailing of few of the instruments that I could clearly make out which was completely missing with the regular cables. Now I am more intrigued to my music system than ever before

Before buying this cable i wasn’t sure if the rca cable actually make a difference in soundquality,after plugging DAC rca cable i was blown away by the improvement in soundquality compared to earlier when i was using a cheap rca cable bought from a local store.The bass goes deeper,highs are more detailed,soundstage is wider,i now has greater appreciation of my monitor audio speakers and marantz amplifier.So much improvement in sound just because i decided to change the rca cable.

These are very good cables. Definitely there is a change in the quality of sound. I am using a vintage Sony stereo amplifier. It has only rca connectors. After changing the cable there is a big difference and I recommend these cables..
