Everything about Debut 2.0 has been improved, including completely redesigned custom drivers that deliver greater accuracy, and robust cabinets for even higher resolution and freedom from resonances.
New Tweeter with Wide-Dispersion Waveguide
A new silk-dome tweeter features a wide-roll surround and takes response up to 35,000 Hz for even more lifelike high frequencies. The waveguide improves directivity control and eliminates the diffraction modes inherent in traditional box enclosures.
New Woven Aramid-Fiber Woofer
The revised shape of the aramid cone offers even greater stiffness and damping, far superior to polypropylene or paper. The added strength allows more flexibility in design to achieve a smoother, extended low-frequency response.
New Cabinets for Easier Placement
Thick MDF cabinets with a luxurious black ash vinyl or Walnut finish are larger and internally braced for greater stiffness and strength, greatly reducing cabinet vibrations that cause unwanted coloration. Moving the bass port to the front of the cabinet means placement against walls or in bookshelves won’t compromise performance.

I bought this speaker last week when I was in the market to buy a nice, compact bookshelf speaker. I had my eye on the Energy CB-20 and Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V, but this speaker really blew me away with its ability to deliver the sound. I am so happy with this purchase and have placed an order for the Elac Debut 2.0 C6.2 center and Elac Debut 2.0 B6.2 surround speakers!

This is my second purchase from Hifimart; the first was the Wharfedale D320, which is a good speaker with a warm sound and reasonable amount of detail. I purchased this because of the price drop to Rs.26175/=; I think that this is a great price for these speakers. I got the item in 4 working days; the packing was in the original boxes, and it reached me without any damage.
Coming on to the speakers themselves; these have a really open and detailed sound, without being harsh or bright. I have paired them with the Cambridge AM10 which has a slightly warm sound. The combination gives a great sound that is balanced and detailed. These speakers like power and keep their poise even when the volume is cranked up. The most amazing aspect about these speakers is the imaging and sound stage – unbelievably good! Since these are front ported, they are quite flexible about placement / toe-in etc. They just sound good!
The only ‘con’ is that they do not cover up bad recordings; you will hear all the ‘badness’ in the recording; the Wharfedales are a lot more forgiving in this aspect.
On the whole, these are great speakers, especially considering the current price.

This is my 2nd speaker purchase from HifiMart, with the first being Mission QX2 MKII speakers. Bought these speakers at a very competitive price. I was looking for a speaker with front ported bass due to placement issues at my residence and this speaker fit the bill perfectly. Special thanks to Anil who recommended me these speakers inline with my requirements and I have found them to be an excellent choice.
I have currently paired them with AIYIMA Tube 03 Pre-Amplifier and AIYIMA A07 Power Amplifier and the combo sounds really wonderful with the sound signature tilting towards being a warm sound. What surprised me was the sound stage and the punchy bass that this speakers were able to deliver considering the 5.25 woofer. I feel speaker positioning for these speakers are also very important to get the best out of them. I had to slightly toe-in the speakers to get the desired outcome based on my listening position. Using them with Nexus speaker stands increased the clarity along with tightening of the bass.
Overall an excellent purchase and a very good budget proposition for new entrants to HiFi looking to build a good budget system.

I was on the lookout for a decent pair of bookshelf speakers for the bedroom and had shortlisted the ELAC’s 2.0 B5.2, Fyneaudio F301 and Mission LX2 to pair with my Marantz MCR612. The requirement I specifically had was having a well balanced sound with good depth and clear mids and highs. Thanks to Mr. Anil, I was patiently guided for making a well informed decision and chose the ELAC’s 2.0 B5.2.
I delivery was quick and the packaging was excellent. The sight of the speakers was a delight, clean and neat and looks a real premium product. I set it up, fired it up and let it run in straight in for about 20 hrs. The speakers took a while to run in and then the sound was really sweet, well balanced and crystal clear. I do not consider myself as an audiophile but am very keen on good sound of my systems. I have a Naim system as my mains in the entertainment room and do a lot of music listening ranging from pop, rock, classical and the lots. These speakers were dead easy to set up for the right audio performance and I mostly use it with WiiM streamer. I have not heard distortions of any kind so far and the clean sound is really pleasing with great depth and soundstage even though the speakers are barely a meter apart from each other and the listening position is normally about 3-4m away. There is no need for a sub to go with these beauties.
I am immensely pleased with this purchase and thank HiFi Mart for their valuable advice and service.
