WIIM AMP Efficient amplification
The WiiM Amp’s Class D amplifier TPA3255 stage enables it to develop 2x100W into 4Ω or 2x60W into 8Ω, and all with high efficiency. This makes it ideal for powering bookshelf speakers or small columns. What’s more, its careful, optimized design enables the amplifier to deliver precise, dynamic sound reproduction. What’s more, it’s possible to adapt the sound of the device thanks to numerous predefined equalization profiles and a 10-band parametric equalizer.
WiiM AMP Outstanding sound quality
Enjoy excellent sound quality with WiiM AMP. The combination of an ESS ES 9018K2M DAC and a TI TPA 3255 amplifier chip delivers excellent performance, with a THD+N of just 0.002% (-93dB) and an SNR of 98dB at 5W. The WiiM offers precise, detailed reproduction.
WiiM AMP A complete range of connectors
In addition to its wireless connectivity, the WiiM Amp offers a comprehensive range of connectors, enabling it to integrate with the vast majority of audio systems. Inputs include stereo RCA and Toslink optical, as well as HDMI ARC for connecting a TV, and USB-A for playing music from a storage device (USB key or hard disk). Output is via speaker terminals that accept banana plugs. The signal can also be distributed to a subwoofer via its subwoofer output.
Included remote and voice control
The WiiM Amp comes with a remote that lets you control playback and more. You can even add the remote to your Alexa account and use its built-in mic to make voice commands. Or control it via your favourite Google Assistant or Alexa device or Siri on your iPhone®.
Multiple streaming options
The Amp effortlessly links to your home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with an exceedingly simple setup through the free WiiM Home app, compatible with both Apple® and Android™ devices. This app allows you to access and manage most music services, and you can amalgamate additional WiiM components (sold separately) for a multi-room auditory experience. An audio synchronization feature within the WiiM app employs an inbuilt microphone on the Amp to eliminate any playback latency among grouped devices.
Users will appreciate its integrated Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, and Alexa support catering to both single-zone and multi-room streaming. It also integrates with Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, granting you direct access to the Amp from within these applications. Additionally, it appears in your player list if you are using Roon (subscription required).
Bidirectional Bluetooth enables wireless streaming from your compatible smartphone, tablet, or computer. Furthermore, you can stream from the Amp to your preferred Bluetooth headphones or speaker.

I was requested by Mr. Anil to write a review on the WiiM AMP as I have owned this device (which I purchased during my overseas trip) for around three months now and overall, it’s been a solid addition to my audio setup.
Pros:
Sound Quality: The sound clarity is impressive. Whether it’s music, movies, or podcasts, the audio is crisp and immersive.
Ease of Setup: Setting up the Wiim Amp was a breeze. The user-friendly interface made the process straightforward.
Design: Its sleek and compact design fits perfectly into my entertainment centre without taking up much space.
Value for Money: Considering its performance, the Wiim Amp offers great value for its price.
Cons:
Connectivity: Occasionally, the Bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky, requiring a reset to reconnect my devices.
Power Output: While the amp is powerful enough for most uses, audiophiles with very high-end speaker systems might find it slightly underpowered (which is obvious)
App Functionality: The accompanying app is useful and much improved but could benefit from more advanced features.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the Wiim Amp. It has significantly enhanced my audio experience, and the few minor drawbacks are easily manageable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, affordable amplifier with a streaming facility.
