POWER, WITH CONTROL
The speaker features an oversized 165mm mid/bass driver developed from the big, powerful 3050i floorstander, and it’s also fitted with that speaker’s 22mm decoupled tweeter. The result is extraordinarily substantial bass presence, beautifully poised and eloquent mid-range reproduction, and crisp, spacious high frequencies. Hear all the power and detail of your music.
DYNAMIC AND DETAILED
The all-new 165mm mid/bass driver is a precision-formed cone made from impregnated and coated paper and is teamed with an optimised motor. Because it’s capable of such prodigious low-frequency presence, the 22mm tweeter above it is decoupled – so it’s isolated from the vibrations of the mid/bass driver. Which means clearer, purer sound.
BRACED FOR ACTION
Like the whole of the 3000i range, the 3030i features Q Acoustics’ unique point-to-point bracing. This computer-aided process provides targeted and precise cabinet support, so the cabinet is supremely rigid and unwanted vibrations are banished.
BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT
Not only does the entire 3000i range feature all-new cabinet aesthetics but it also offers four contemporary finishes: Graphite Grey, Arctic White, English Walnut or Carbon Black. One of the better 6.5″ bookshelf speakers. Spacious sound-stage, deep bass when compared to the 3020i. Midrange and highs very similiar to the 3020i. Needs a good amp to bring out the best in this speaker.

Balanced sounding speakers and good for those who need a floorstander’s big sound in a compact bookshelf form factor. Punchy bass coupled with clear high frequencies that is delivered in a spacious soundstage. You hear a lot of details never heard before. Although it can not match mids and vocals of Wharfedale and doesn’t pump full bodied sound with agile bass like a Dali, it’s a great buy in 30-35K budget.

First let’s talk about the looks, after all speakers are something that you put on display. And these are gorgeous. I opted for the walnut and absolutely love them. Now coming to how to sound. Well, in short just fabulous. I am listening to them in my study which doubles as my office in WFH mode. It’s small and most of my listening is near field with just 6 ft between me and the speakers. I was worried whether the 3030i will be too big for the purpose. But I am glad that I went for these. Even in low volumes the presentation is very clear and the bass is tight. In slightly higher volume these speakers are just brilliant. I started discovering nuances in music that I did not know existed before. A very satisfying buy. Hifimart delivery was fast and the price was very competitive.

Bought these for near field listening. Using them for about 2 months. Superb for near field music or binge watching streaming content. They will not fill a room as the dispersion is quite narrow. Near audiophile level performance whatever that means to you but can’t be beat at the price HiFiMart sold them for….
