Colour and finish will vary but they key point is that Planar 1 ECO DECK performs as a Planar 1 and comes with One Year Warranty against manufacturing defects. The only ‘compromise’ is appearance, never performance.

Bought this Eco Deck last week and and I have been a happy guy all week.
This is my first turn table and being my first totally analog music listening experience, ‘I’m blown away by the sound quality’ is an understatement.
I bought 9 records to begin with and barring 1 (only because of the quality of pressing), they all sound so much better than their HighRes FLAC versions.
This turn table is beginner friendly and it was up an running in 10 minutes including unboxing. The packaged information about the setup is alright but it is best to see the setup video on youtube for better clarity.
The only drawback of the package in my opinion is the supplied felt slip-mat. It leaves residue on the records and the records have to be brushed every time we change from A to B sides and so on. I thought of getting an acrylic platter mat but there is a difference in thickness from the original felt mat which would make the tone-arm sit 1 mm higher than its factory setting. So I don’t know if it is recommended.
Overall it is a beautiful sounding turn table and it has only piqued my interest in analog audio. Highly recommended.
