This is an amazing amplifier. Thanks to Hifimart team for guiding me to get this amplifier.
First things first: this is heavy amplifier, like really heavy and dense. Due to transformers at back it’s pretty imbalanced to lift.
The packaging was as well so good. Hifimart had used a foam packing and a box on top of it and a nylon bag style packing. The amp comes in 2-box packing with enough padding and buffer.
Coming to the amplifier: There are so many reviews available over the net all in praise of this amp. I reflect the same with my initial few hours of listening. I connected my thiel cs2.2 to this amp, moving from solid state musical fidelity m5si. Dac is topping dx3 pro+. It tamed down the shoutiness of the thiel, expanded the stereo space and places the instruments amazingly well. The thiels generally disappear in the space and all you hear is the sound. But this amp just makes it more sweet and cohesive to listen to. I don’t hear any noise or hiss from the speakers. Listening at just 30% vol in triode mode is plenty and goes to 90db at 6ft distance. Very good amp and punches above the price.
